Scott Foundation has big aspirations and a different path for Arizona foster youth. We imagine a journey that inspires our kids to be their absolute best today while making our communities stronger and more peaceful. We imagine an education and societal system focused on empowering our foster youth, not just rescuing them. We also imagine a world where these youth are taught that they are not separate, but instead, are accepted for themselves and are a part of the community that surrounds them. That can only happen when they experience that connectedness and develop their self-esteem and self-confidence.
Our programs develop each teen's self-esteem, self-acceptance, self-confidence and offer other personalized guidance as well as practical life-skills training so these young adults transition into real life much better equipped.
The teens who volunteer to participate in our Masterclass Leadership Program gain the benefit of a loving community and extended family experience. Their horizons are expanded with exposure to 8 different pillars of service and career experiences.
Enrollment is EASY:
*** NOTICE ***
Our Commitment is to KIDS! If their Case Manager changes, they move to a different Group Home or most any situation, we will make accommodate to keep them in programs, as long as their placement stays in the Greater Phoenix and surrounding area.
FREE of charge, we provide:
Together from wherever they are!
This experience To-Go keeps us social from wherever our kids are at. Virtual Gatherings run for 1.5 hours in length and included coordination of virtual connection, as well as delivery and pick up of To-Go Kits.
All Virtual Gatherings include equipment, supplies and instruction, and are FREE of charge.
Our 3-Day Workshops run 4 hours in duration, one evening for 3 weeks. It introduces the concept of social responsibility and inspires kids to look deeper at problems they wish to solve. What do they need to learn to make it possible? and What careers align to further their causes?
Here, experiential learning provides hands-on discovery that gives participants a chance to try out new and creative problem-solving opportunities.
An unforgettable Summer Camp for kids who live the rest of the year in Group Homes.
The program runs 3 consecutive days in a row, for 8 hours a day.
Working together to help solve real-world issues, kids are exposed to all 8 pillars of service and career paths that create powerful and positive memories to keep them "going and growing".
This is a great experience for those considering the Masterclass Leadership Program in 2022.
Our Masterclass Leadership is recommended only for those that are serious about change and open to discovery. This program addresses the most pressing needs foster youth face in their present, and sets the stage for the basic skills and life-training that follows. This program is exclusive to teens 13 to 17 year's old.
Experiential learning is the method we apply in all our program, exposing kids to new life-skills and ways to become more whole - emotionally, spiritually (developing hope and faith) and physically - and to set a vision for their future.
This is a 4-year Program with staggering results, kids make a commitment of one year at a time. This includes after school, weekends, Summer Camps, Workshops, Retreats, Community Service and more... Only 5 kids in the past 14 years have ever quit this program.
It's a game changer.
For those new to Scott Foundation, here's what to expect... Upon registering your kids, you can expect to receive a follow on call to learn more about the program you've registered your kids for, and of course to answer all your questions. The "Register My Kids Now!" link below takes you the complete list of classes available in 2021. Classes fill up fast, so if for any reason the class you are trying to register the kids in your care for is full, please contact us to be Wait Listed in the event of a cancellation.
Note: Not all foster kids are ready to make such a commitment, and not all have the support they need from their Case Managers or Group Home Leaders. In fact, sadly over the past 14 years, 89% of the kids that have fallen out of our Masterclass Leadership Program have all been due to ADULT FAILURE. We encourage you to ask us more about these statistics.
