The population focus group we serve are Arizona foster youth ages 13-17 and young adults ages 18-25, as they are considered to be within the Arizona Department Child Safety and Healthcare transition period.
The Arizona Department of Child Safety reports the opportunity of 4,000+ presently of age for our Young Adult Masterclass program, and an ever increasing population of young adults.
Since 2007, Scott Foundation has impacted the lives of 6,000+ youth through the development of core social emotional learning and life skills with the help of committed volunteers and community support. Those same youth have directed nearly $763K in In-Kind donations back into the community.
Through the Young Adult Masterclass, Scott Foundation continues to respond to the needs of children in the Arizona foster care system.

Autumn has proudly stepped into the Community Relations Specialist position with Scott Foundation as well as continued work as a Thought & Service Leader and Mentor. Having been in the foster care system since she was 3, she began her Scott Foundation journey at 15 and she describes her passion is "helping others".
Her future is bright with career interests of Directing Scott Foundation worldwide, advocating for foster kids as a Public Speaker while helping them find their voice.
Efrain, a Thought & Service Leader & Mentor, began his Scott Foundation journey at 16.
Heading into his third year, Efrain has grown tremendously over the years and become very clear about his passion to own his own clothing company designing shoes, hats and clothing; he’s also an avid gamer with a wish do this professionally. Efrain has a wish to help other in many ways, clothing, providing clean water and housing, stop racism and most anything that has to do with art or helping others.
SarahAnn, a Thought & Service Leader & Mentor, began her Scott Foundation journey at 14.
Heading into her third year she has found her gift of “love" that guides her to stay strong as a growing leader. Her future is bright with career interests of starting a band, dancing, singing and acting, writing, public speaking and helping other foster kids. Her wish for the future is to be successful and help others. She wants to be an Actress with a message of peace and nonviolence.
Rosa, a Thought & Service Leader & Mentor, began her Scott Foundation journey at 14.
She has reconnected to find her Soul Bird “Ruby”, who reminds her that her gift is “CREATIVITY”. Her journey will help both her and others to find inner peace and beauty.
Heading into her third year, she describes herself as funny, beautiful, loving, compassionate, smart, open minded and confident. Her passion/dreams are fashion, beauty, skin care, helping animals, law enforcement.
Susan, a Thought & Service Leader & Mentor, began her Scott Foundation journey at 15.
She has reconnected to find her Soul Bird, who reminds her to “BE HELPFUL” and that her gifts will guide her and others to find peace and style.
She describes herself as being strong, smart, funny, cute, loud and kind. Her passion/dreams are helping animals, owning her own business, softball and one day being a foster parent with her own Group Home.
